Creative Careers Seminar

Especially for students interested in a career in fine or performing arts, arts management, public relations, advertising, graphic arts, writing and publishing, design, multimedia, film, or print and broadcast media. You’ll hear the real story about “creative careers” from real people working in real jobs!

Ask questions, make connections, and learn more about getting your career started! HaJ, a film producer whose aspirations are to create innovative media content, which affects social and political change that inspires people's lives will be the Keynote Speaker. Other past and present affiliations include: producing Emmy nominated Public Service Announcements aired on UPN, working in film development at Red Wagon Entertainment (MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA, JARHEAD, GLADIATOR), producing THE UNTITLED KELIS PROJECT, which follows a day in the life of Grammy nominated recording artist Kelis, "Milkshake," and Launching TICKLES.TV an online web media site.

The $5 pre-registration is available until Friday, November 2, 2007. Forms can be obtained in Career Services, 224 WPU. Or, you can register at the door for $10.
