Student Resources
Student Employment administers and manages the Student Employment program. Student Employment does not find jobs for students at the University. Part-time position vacancies can be accessed by students in a number of ways:
- Student Employment encourages all departments to post their available positions on FutureLinks. FutureLinks offers students the opportunity to view student employment positions, upload their résumé, view departmental contact information, and apply to positions online.
- Hiring departments often post advertisements for available positions throughout campus on bulletin boards. Positions may also be found in the classified section of The Pitt News, the University’s student newspaper.
- Students seeking part-time employment should also directly contact any department they wish to work for. Many departments hire students year round, and once posted, positions fill rather quickly. Timing is everything!
